This is Disarmonia Mundi’s fourth album three years after their previous work “Mind Tricks”. The thing that i like about Disarmonia Mundi is that they have the ability to write very good songs that combine the classic swedish death metal style with catchy choruses without sounding boring. The album sounds like the heaviest thing the band has recorded up to date. The sound is incredibly clear and heavy and when you listen to the album it’s obvious that the band has put a lot of work in order to produce the final result, a perfect combination of heaviness, melody, catchy choruses, aggression and excellent song writing. Again in “The Isolation Game” as in their previous works we have the guest appearance of Bjorn “Speed” Strid of our beloved Soilwork who does some guest vocals here and there. If you are a fan of in Flames and Soilwork and haven’t heard before of this band then it’s your loss because Disarmonia Mundi’s quality is similar to the above mentioned bands and in my opinion “The Isolation Game” is far much better from their latest albums “ A Sense Of Purpose” and “Sworn To A Great Divide”. Here we have the next big thing. Disarmonia Mundi play in the top league now with an excellent album and i will be very disappointed if they don’t get the success they deserve. The album contains thirteen songs of excellent melodic death metal with the more characteristic of them “Cypher Drone”, “Building An Empire Of Dust”, “Some Old Nails For A New Messiah” and “Perdition Haze”.  So if you are a fan of N.W.O.D.M then this album is definitely for you. For the fans of the band i only say that this is Disarmonia Mundi’s best album.
